How will I be graded?
Your course grade will be cumulative and it will depend on the following:
1. You will be given very few homework assignments, but when I give homework, I expect you to turn it in, in a timely fashion (within the first 2 minutes of the beginning of the class period the day it is due).
2. You will be subject to a binder check, the grading will be based on the rubric which will be handed out.
3. Your class participation is very important and could make a difference between one letter grade and another if you have a borderline grade.
4. The bulk of your grade will be based on your daily classwork, which maybe collected at my discretion or included in your binder.
5. Always be ready to take a Section Quiz at least on the third day after having covered new material in class, this means you need to review everyday the material (vocabulary/expressions) covered in class.
6. You will take a Chapter Test at the end of every chapter which may include a Listening Comprehension component.
Your overall grade will be as follows:
Quarter Grade: Semester Grade:
Chapter Tests Will be the cumulative average of the previous
Section Quizzes two quarters.
